Whether you're buying your first home or selling to start your next chapter, I'll guide you through every step with straight answers, real availability, and a plan built around you.

I came to real estate after years of working in technology, but my interest in people, communities, and the systems that shape our lives started much earlier. After earning my undergraduate degree from UC San Diego, I moved to North Carolina to pursue a master's degree in sociology at UNC Charlotte. That's where I met my wife, Caitlin, and North Carolina quickly became home. A few years later, we moved to Angier to be closer to family and put down roots near the Triangle.
When changes at the tech company where I worked gave me the opportunity to rethink my career, I decided to make the leap into real estate. What drives me most is helping people understand complicated decisions, feel confident in their options, and choose what will serve them well for the long term. I'm naturally analytical, calm, and low-pressure, and I work closely with Caitlin, whose eye for the right home complements my strengths. Together, we love helping clients find a place that truly fits the life they want to build.
When I'm not showing homes, you'll usually find me with Caitlin and our five pets, exploring a new trail or national park, or relaxing at home with a good TV show.
Real estate can feel overwhelming. My job is to make it feel handled — with tools and a process most agents simply don't offer.
No pressure and no sugar-coating. You'll always know exactly where things stand and what your options really are.
Clients get a private online hub to review hand-picked homes, react, and follow every step of an offer in real time — not a flood of listing spam.
Deep knowledge of the Triangle and its surrounding counties — schools, land, wells, septic, floodplains, the details that matter here.
You work directly with me and my operations partner Caitlin — not a rotating team of assistants who've never seen your file.
Inspections, deadlines, pre-approvals, closing dates — all tracked and stewarded so a missed date never costs you the home.
From move-in-ready houses to raw acreage, I help you weigh what a property really offers — and what it'll take to make it yours.
Buying, selling, or both at once — here's what working together looks like.
Real reviews from people Brett has helped buy their homes.
"Brett was very knowledgeable and dedicated to helping me and my wife purchase our home. He was exceptionally helpful in explaining every detail of every step during the process. His negotiation skills were second to none, giving us the best deal possible. Brett was exactly who we needed to get us in our home. He was a joy to work with and I would recommend his services to anyone!"
"I'm a very picky person when it comes to big decisions like buying a home, and Brett truly took the time to understand every detail of what I was looking for. He was patient, attentive, and never made me feel rushed. What stood out most was how much legwork he did for us — sorting through listings, narrowing down options that fit our needs, and handling so many details behind the scenes. That took a huge amount of stress off the entire process. We found a home we genuinely love, in the time frame we needed. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a thoughtful, hardworking buying agent."
"Brett was very helpful and organized. He and his wife were very thorough with research to make sure we found a house that checked all the boxes on our must-have list — which helped me navigate purchasing a beautiful home from several states away. Brett always answered my questions and made sure I understood the process. He also helped with recommendations since we aren't local to the area, and was always mindful of our concerns and made sure we were always on the same page."
